I think Dodge's Store has some of the best gas station chicken around. I'm not sure how many locations they have in LA- I just know of the one in Vidalia.
Also they have a kickass fried steak biscuit for breakfast.

Jr Food Mart creole fried chicken used to be the best around but the closest one taste bland.

I was driving back from Gulf Shores last summer at like 2am and stopped at a Dodge’s to get gas. Got some of their spicy fried chicken wings and I don’t know if I was just starving but it was some of the best fried chicken I’ve ever had! I don’t even know exactly where I was when I stopped.

Agree. They sell it less than a half mile from the house and we drive across town to Popeye's when we want chicken. My vote for best gas station chicken is Brothers. I can't think of anybody even close to as good as them.
