I'm watching this Travel Chanel show about Willie Mae's in New Orleans and now I have a craving for some good fried chicken.

So, besides Popeye's and Cane's, where can I get some good fried chicken in this town?

Zeeland St. Market has good fried chicken. Wednesdays I think is fried chicken day.

Think the ownership might have changed-it has not been so good lately. Bayou Bistro's is good, as is their baked/rotisserie chicken, and Delpit's is good home cooked flavor, though a bit greasy (sorry if this sounds redundant).

Never been to the one at BB, but the KK on Airline Highway at Old Perkins is excellent when fresh.

Speaking of KK, had KK at the LRA Expo this weekend ... absolutely the best chicken finger I have ever had ...

Interesting. I haven't made it out there in about two months. Did it change within the past 2 months?
