Family is saying Korean fried chicken is the best. Seriously, better than Popeyes, Blues, or Bergeron chicken cracklings? I call BS! Fight me!

I think I’m going to disown my kids. I would sooner trust a Norwegian with my gumbo.

This is idiotic. Asian peoples are great at frying foods.
The main difference with korean fried chicken is a crispier crust and obviously a different spice palate

I've been to South Korea eight times.
Korean fried chicken is better than American fried chicken.

Also better hot dog. Their corn dog makes the American version looks so boring.

I’d take Bonchon over Popeyes probably 6/10 days.

I feel like this is one of those things where the grass is always greener. Americans will say Korean is better be because we don't get it as often. Koreans will say ours is better because they don't get it as often.

They are both really good. Korean fried chicken places have some interesting sauces but a really good southern fried chicken is tops overall. The chicken flavor really shines through and is complemented by the seasonings /crust.

Possibly.
However, I can't remember the last time I had American fried chicken. I never eat it.

I enjoy both. For Korean style, the Momofuku wing recipe is out of this world, big hit every time I make em.

Love Popeyes and Mama’s Fried Chicken in Opelousas.
That said, Dak N Bop Korean fried chicken in Houston is freaking awesome.
I like both well executed styles the same, so guess it just depends what mood I’m in.

I’d eat Bonchon over Popeyes every day of the week and twice on Sunday. Sorry not sorry.
That said, Gus’s trumps all.

Not sure about fried chicken, but if you're talking wings then hands down, Korean is better. We've got a place in Charlotte called Seoul Food that has the best wings I've ever had.
