real truffles? no
truffle oil? yes
Not sure why this picked up a downvote. Real shaved truffle is actually fairly mild in taste. Truffle oil, particularly cheap truffle oil, tries so hard to taste like truffle (without containing truffle) that it overpowers anything you put it in.

Bacon on everything
I love bacon, but it doesn't belong on everything. Even burgers I feel are better without bacon. Ice cream and sweets? I've tried but can't get into it.

Amen. I don't want bits of pork jerky in my cheesecake.

I like some bacon wrapped things
But my answer, which I'm sure won't be popular, is the bacon-wrapped filet

Any variation of game filled poppers. I know it's Bubba's favorite way to cook duck but 9 times of 10 the payload slips out on the first bite. Ditto for the soggy bacon.

I agree that most of the time, bacon needs to stand alone, but I will make an exception for maple bacon donuts.

Chicken and waffles. Doesn’t really sound great. But it is awful

I've never understood that combination.

Sorry your tastebuds are dysfunctional.
Chicken 'n Waffles is a celebration of flavor. Especially when you mix hot sauce with your maple syrup before drowning the whole kit 'n kaboodle in that sweet spicy elixir.
If you haven't been, I suggest Metro Diner in Jacksonville, FL for proper preparation.

Stuffed burgers: in my brain, it is very logical and sounds great. A burger with cheese and other things stuffed inside? Sign me up. But in reality, I find that I’d rather the cheese, etc. be put on top like normal
Agree. At home I tried to make this work several times but it never really hit right.

I made a Bacon Explosion a couple of times. It's an interwoven bacon grid, with a layer of sausage, topped with cheese, and crumbled, cooked bacon. You then roll it up and put it on the grill. It was pretty good, but it needs to be done for a crowd. Turned out to be kind of a bacon/sausage/cheese meatloaf which we sliced and put on cathead biscuits.
I may try something similar one day, but subbing ground beef for the sausage and maybe adding some pickled jalapenos -- a cheeseburger explosion. Probably more a gimmick.
