I don't have much of an issue but seems my friends do quite a bit. My girlfriend has really bad luck. Doesn't matter whether it's Uber eats, door dash, or GrubHub. They always seem to screw it up or forget an order. Uber eats is the worst about customer service. Anyone else have any issues and what do you consider the best delivery app.

You probably don’t tip well enough for them to bring your food fast, the drivers can reject bad offers. And they do. Don’t be a cheap piece of shite, or go get the food yourself

I use all of them here in Chi and IMO they're all about the same... for the most part Ive had good experience...

I'll admit with uber, I get annoyed if it says they have another stop in between... Id rather they just not tell me..

All they do is grab the bag, the restaurant is the issue if the order is wrong.

I’ve used Waitr the most, but have used Grubhub a couple of times and DoorDash once.

Waitr lost my business after one entree was missing and they wouldn’t send the driver back or get another driver to pick it up and deliver. They gave me my money back for the missing entree, so even though that sounds fair, it just pissed me off. I’d chosen the restaurant for the specific entree that was not delivered.

I leave 5 dollars minimum usually 10 bucks on the app and often meet them with cash at the door step so they don't have to report it. I'm not a cheapskate. I have worked in in the restaurant business. Frontz back, host, and bouncer. I have a couple of musician friends that do Instacart on the side. They quit Uber/Lyft cause they kept getting screwed over. Everything used to be better just guess it has gone downhill like everything else. Even Chicken fila has gotten bad... Well more inconsistent. Just ready for it to be like maybe 2017 again.

It’s not possible for any delivery service to get my food to me faster than if I just go pick it up myself. They’re not profiting by filling one order at a time as quickly as they can. Unless I’m ordering catering service for a large event, (which I’m not,) then I’m picking it up myself. And I’ll never get lost on the way home.

We use DoorDash unless what everyone wants is only on Waitr. Most of the time everything is fine, but once in a while it's a real shite show.

At least with DoorDash, when something gets messed up, they will throw credits at us nonstop while trying to get someone to bring us the correct order.

With Waitr, we had the same experience as above - there is no redelivery option. You either get a credit or refund back to your card (someone didn't get their dinner and they can't eat a refund). Once they told us the forgotten food was sitting at the restaurant and we could drive there ourselves to get it if we wanted it . So now we only use it if someone wants something that's ONLY on Waitr, and we make it clear that if everyone isn't okay with being the one whose food is forgotten, we need to pick someplace on DoorDash.

I've only used DoorDash. The only issues I've had have been restaurant issues not DoorDash. In fact, all the DoorDash folks have been very good. A few times the drivers have called me to tell me the restaurant is suddenly out of something and they get the restaurant folks on the phone to discuss it.
