Why did you cut one steak into 4 pieces

Because there are 4 people in my family?

Something good happens today and I buy a couple of big ol’ prime ribeyes for the family to celebrate and people on here make fun of me because the steaks are only about 3/4” thick instead of 2” dry aged Kobi that all you guys eat. Ya’ll really are something else.

They’re 1/4” thick and not prime.

If they were honestly sold as prime then I would never give that store my business again because there is no way those steaks you posted are graded as prime.

These were the Prime steakhouse cuts from Whole Foods. Not sure about their labeling but they were $8 lb they better be prime.

That’s just onion sticking to the side of the ribeye. Probably some of the marbling shining through also. I see why people pay more for prime after eating those bad boys.

Actually made from wheat I personally grew on my farm. We used to grow a lot of white corn for human consumption. But now all the corn we grow is yellow corn. Yellow corn is animal feed. People do eat yellow corn in some third world countries but here it is mostly just animal feed.
