Not in a marketing association so I was able to lock in a price of .94 lb plus premiums with Allenberg back in the summer. Not a lot of premiums this year though.

Ended up putting them in the oven at 400° for 6 minutes then dropped on the hot cast iron for 32 seconds per side. Turned out great. That reverse sear works great on these thicker cuts.

That’s kind of what I was thinking to when I was debating on paying extra for the Prime but overall I’m glad I did.

You'd be better off making cheese steak sandwiches with those

Actually a pretty good year for cotton not counting the grades. Those steak pictures looked rough but that was taken before they were cooked. Turned out great.

If you think that’s Prime, then I’ve got a couple used cars to sell you that are peaches.

I bet you could read a newspaper through those “thick” cuts. Congrats on selling that cotton though.

Not sure about the newspaper but thanks anyway I guess. Finally got dry enough around here to start breaking some ground for another go at it.

Damn! Those look tasty. Hope you hit them with the sous video and a little Worcestershire on the finish to complement the natural flavors of the meat.

Looks like you ran over those steaks with that tractor

I take it a lot of you guys don’t like ribeye tacos. Y’all should give them a try before you make fun of someone.
