One of my favorite parts of festival season is, obviously, the food.
I'm heading to Festival International in Louisiana this weekend and plan to eat like a horse.
What's your can't miss food suggestions for this weekend's festivals (JazzFest in NO and FIL in Laffy)? And JazzFesters, post some pictures if you can for the 2nd weekenders.
Festival International 2015 food vendors
JazzFest food list
7 new sandwiches, an outrageous new dessert and 2 favorites return: What's new in New Orleans Jazz Fest food via NOLA.com

A crawfish spinach boat and finding Viva La Waffle are in my future.

It's always a big year for food at Jazz Fest, and this year has a few more changes than usual.

From the classic Festival offerings, such as the crawfish and spinach boat from Bon Creole, to the new offerings, such as grilled pimento cheese and bacon jam sandwich from Blanchard's Barbecue, there's a little something for everybody.

Usually just eat a bunch of acid and like 50 Miller Lites at JF

Yeah I don't eat much at JF either. Couple mango freezes with tequila. I might stick a cuban sandwhich in my cargo pocket incase I get a case of the munchies.

It's also Navy Week.
I always get chicken livers at JF, after I leave the confines of the People's Health tent.

I would buy those patty bowls if I knew where they sold them. Those are sized just right and more practical.

That Cuban is so much better than it has any business being.
Love the poulet fricassee as well with a shot of African hot sauce

Sorry to bump this one with other festivals food threads active, but here's (most of) what I ate this weekend (I really only took pictures of what I ordered and not everything I tried from sampling friend's eats).
(Johnson's and stuffed bread from a gas station weren't actual FIL vendors).
