Im going to try and talk mrs tetu into heading to nola for the day. Not sure if tetu jr will be in tow or not. Just got a little red wagon to drag him around in. Is FQF Radio Flyer friendly?

Where are these odells and holy city brews coming from

The odells was from CharleyLake who is an online ordering son of a gun. I firmly believe there is no beer unobtainable to him.

Link , Hokus had the Mikkeler breakfast stou

They've had it for a while now but you're right, it's a small bottle for a big price. Last year I waited for the first good cold front that coincided with an LSU game and cooked a big hearty breakfast with fried Bacon, ham steaks, fried eggs, grits, and southern style biscuits. All the cooking started with the stout and ended with the stout. Awesome.

You angry, angry little hop of a man.

Rochefort is awesome but an occasional beer for me because of local price.

I believe a beer such as a Rochefort, Westmalle or other Belgian Trappist style beers should be the FBD.

Questionable at best. Its pretty crowded and the stages are really spread out, from the mint to the aquarium. It seems like it would be tough to pull the wagon through the crowds.

I am only having 2 tonight and my plan was a relatively light beer for FBD and move on to the heavy stuff.

Link , Hokus had the Mikkeler breakfast stout. I looked at it and it seemed like around a 16 oz bottle. Definitely seemed smaller than the 22 ozers for $17. Will save up my pennies and will try this weekend.

There's a few of the mikkeler beer geek brunches out now. One of them is Beer Geek Weasel. It's a little more expensive because of the civet dropping coffee. Then there's the little bottle of Beer Geek Brunch Weasel aged in Cognac barrels that's ridiculously expensive.
