FBD.

Love Founders, and love their porter.

Just finished an Upland Brewing Revved Up, which was good, but decided to put together an old fashioned with some Four Roses Single Barrel. It's gonna be a little burny until that ice cube melts a bit.

Basically said I was gonna be going without asking if the weekend was a good time.

We have a young kiddo so I got a guilt trip.

I have to circle the wagons and re approach the situation.

Stupid question, but what does FBD stand for? I'm assuming the B is beer, and D is maybe deep?

Yes. Their Breakfast Stout is my favorite of their brews. Top 10 label too.

After warming up with a Yingling and some Envies 9/20, NBD is incredible for the style:

Finished a Revved Up a little while ago. But I was just rooting around the fridge and found it. I'm a huge fan of Founder's, Bell's, Central Waters. Big into stouts, porters, barrel aged stuff. Went to Binny's last spring and spent about $400 on those types of beers to get me through the summer.

Got a bunch of Dark Lord in there, picked up some Bourbon County's, Speedway Stout, Breakfast Stout, Bell's Expedition Stout, and the like.

Cracked one of my Goose Bourbon County Barleywine's for the UW/Michigan tailgate up in AA, and I can see what they meant when they talked about it not meeting their standards. Still got the buzz going nice and quick though.

Breakfast stout is the beer that got me started on "good beer". Still one of my favorites.
