Just finished my honey-do list, which today was building some shelves. Sitting down with my FBD. Homebrewed sake cider. Delicious.

I enjoyed it. This would be a good canned beer for poolside at the Grand.

I love me some sake and cider! Was this hard to home brew?

Very easy.
5 gallons cider
2 lbs brown sugar
Sake yeast at 70 degrees.
That's it. Takes several months, but worth it. The sake yeast strikes a happy balance between ale yeasts that leave cider to sweet and wine/champagne yeasts that dry it out to the point of being flavorless.

FBD & SBD are Lazy Magnolia Deep South pale ale alongside a homebrew hoppy wheat ale. Both similar with wheat alongside piney hops. My hoppy wheat has gotten better over the past couple weeks.

I have the equipment because my brother does large batches of wine(blackberry and muscadine) so I see this happening soon.
