FBD is the first taste of my latest Homebrew. It’s called “Answer Key,” because it’s all cheater hops... and boy does it deliver. This is it against Boudin & Cracklin’. It needs one more night of carb, but damn if it’s not significantly better than B&C. The real comparison will be with 1-week old Ghost Diamonds as the hops are much more apples to apples. My hopping rate is half of B&C, proving my theory that there is a significant point of diminishing returns on hopping rates.
It’s one of the juiciest beers I’ve ever had, and it’s on the sweeter side even for a New England. Clocks in at 7.5%. Booze is hidden superbly. Passionfruit and peach juice with varying citrus and tropic overtones. Excited for you baws to try it!

3BD is a Ghost Diamonds. Hops, hops and more hops. I don't think it is very good at this point.

I enjoyed it. It’s not as sweet as cake is a lie. Definitely has that bourbon barrel flavor. I like ghost diamond and boudin cracklin but they’re a little abrasive.
