The fricking nerve. I order a commotion and they give me one of the old dick cans. Sent that shite back and told them to give me one canned within 3 days.

Next, new commotion

First of the week is a pour of Six Point Resin. Very fresh and tasty. I'm going to have no problem downing this growler.

2BD was another Wrought Iron with B and Milo. I was impressed with how good it was.

Power just came back on back home and 3BD is an Alpine Duet courtesy of Rouge. I'm not sure that I would rank it as high as its 98 rating on BA, but this one is a winner no doubt. Nice fruity floral citrus hops on the nose and a smooth, almost creamy mouthfeel that finishes with a crisp hop bite.

How do you like the crowler? I've never gotten one, but I feel like they only excel when shipping the beer. Other than that, glass will do.

Having a pretty fresh Shipwrecked from Mission, and this beer is terribad. Isn't Mission relatively well thought of?

Some people have been saying the Green Flash brewed Alpine stuff hasn't been as good. I haven't had the new stuff yet, but the Duet I had last year was easily a 98 for my tastes.

The beer seems really fresh even though it was filled a week ago. The downside is that it can't be resealed like a growler, but I can polish it off no problem!

I tend to agree with this. I may have to do more research, though. Gonna stop for a beer on the way home from work. Duet at ABV Pub, or Barley Brown's/Fat Head's Unpredictable at Orenco Taphouse...

Leaning towards Unpredictable because I haven't tried it, and it's a one-off that may not be around long.
