Nope. I think you about fit. OTOH I'm a fine upstanding high-society type from the big city: Lakeview/Metairie. :raisespinky:

eta: Cappuchino Stout is like drinking a milkshake. Its so good but I feel like it loses its edge quickly because its SO powerful. Meaning after the first glass (its 22oz) I feel like I'm wasting it.

It's one of the few hyped beers I've had that lived up to the promise.

I'll be so glad when Bell's shows up in Texas.

And it's nothing flashy. Just a really well made beer.

Zombie Dust is just amazing. If I had regular access to it and THA, I'd need to hire a driver (and a liver donor).

I haven't had Dreadnaught yet, but I have one chilling in my fridge. Also have a Permanent Funeral that I'm pretty stoked to try.

Bell's THA

It's such an outstanding beer, and an amazingly easy drinker for the 7% ABV. It lends itself really well to drinking with boiled seafood-- which to me is an impressive feat for an IPA.

Only problem I have with it is how quickly I run out.

THA is my "desert island" beer--if I had to pick just one.

I believe I'll be calling it a night after this (reserve the right to change this opinion). I will be up and out early though, might even take the privilege of starting the thread tomorrow.

Tough to argue against the choice.

I think the Bell's to Texas rumor has been circulating for a year now, but it's been all smoke.

I would have thought Bell's would be here before Firestone Walker and Founder's...so that shows how much I know.

Nothing is "official" but Texas is very much on their radar. The big question is "When?"

THA is good, but Zombie Dust is on a completely different level. I've passed over THA, but I will shoot people for ZD.

Very small pours of the following tonight:

Envie (why the hate? It's an easy drinking pale ale, not a DIPA).
Southern Tier Hop Sun (meh)
Southern Tier Live (really good)
Southern Tier 2XIPA (Live is better)
NB Rampant (a sipper)
Pliny (so good)

I probably had the equivalent of 2 beers, if that.

Requested a few THA for next week, hope it delivers.

LBD - Santa Fe Imperial Java Stout. Always a great one to end on. Plan to be back at it for lunch tomorrow.

How is that tetu?
this one is not very good. Alot of metal/sulphur on the nose and more metal on the taste. Drinkable but def some off flavors.

I heard the spontankriek and spontanframboise are much better. I have one of each still.
