I hope people aren't discussing good music and throwing Robin Thicke into that mix.

I'm generally not a music snob.... most people hate the stuff I listen to.

4BD / Surly Overrated! West Coast Style IPA - quite toasted malt flavor for an IPA. Hard to put a finger on the hops, but it's got a supple caramel flavor to counteract the inherent bitterness.

man the aces and ales bottle list looks fantastic but not worth it if I don't have at least two other people coming with. most of the beers I want to try are huge beers and some in 22oz only. I need to divide and conquer for that place to make sense...

A sourish Sasion and it's great. I bought it when I was visiting my mom in NO for Labor Day.

Yea, it's insane. The place is a couple miles off the strip which is weird, but it's more than worth the trek if you don't mind dropping some cash.

Your FBD posts from there might even make 8thyear jealous.

I have no problem arguing that. Zombie Dust is world class. THA is an easy drinking IPA that's vastly overrated. It's good, don't get me wrong, but people treat it like liquid gold.

lord have mercy.

18 pages.

Did I miss anything?

I had some Angel's Share by Lost Abbey and Some Robust Porter from Spotted Dog brewery and some of that Triple Lips of Faith from New Belgium.

Bottled a consecration clone with Frat. 10 750's Corked and Caged each. Will hang on to them for a while though because they weren't quite as sour as we expected.

I think all will be well as long as we follow the old rule: never discuss religion, politics or Parish Envie.
