Nice pic Salmon, I like the beer and food pairings. I picked up the Real Ale coffee porter and a Trippel I think in Hou last weekend. Good stuff

FBD: Bell's Two Hearted

First time having it. Very nice. Was surprised how light it looked but has a great flavor. Nice hop bite, which you wouldn't expect looking at it. Glad I got a sixer.

I'm not really a 'newb', bud. If you'd pay attention. Can you do that?

Yes, it is a very drinkable beer. What is the date on the bottle?

I'll cut him some slack since he spent the whole day with a sick toddler. Been there, done that.

FBD after another long day at the office is an Ommegang XV. Good stuff. Even better as it warms.

8 more days to go. I wonder if a nice strong DIPA will still taste the same to me after my palate will have had a month to re-calibrate.

That is plenty fresh. The fresher the better for IPAs, but 3 months is a decent window IMO. I freakin love THA.

R2R and rutiger are both good people. You will meet them at the Second Annual Jamboree this fall.

Been a while since I've had one of those. My Dad and I were driving all over town to try and find some the first time they released it.

FDB for me is a GF West Coast IPA

By the way, I went to the Fresh Market at Louisiana/St. Charles today for the first time. I give their booze selection a big thumbs down. I expected better. The create-a-6-pack was a joke. Luckily I spotted a couple Green Flash 4ers up in the corner.

SBD is the homebrewed pale ale kegged Monday night. Carbonated well, and I'm enjoying it. Just an easy to drink beer with a touch of hops.
