San Diego

They have some good stuff. This was in a thank you package from some family that recently visited from there

FBD is Abita's Strawberry lager which is nice because it looks like my A/C needs recharging or something. It's freaking hot.

Anyone have the hoses and regulator setup for freon and want a six-pack and cash for the freon??

What a great time we live in. So many beers, so little time.

I like Sweetwater's IPA a lot. I wish we could get Sweetwater in BR.

One of my overall favorite IPAs. Definitely the best "affordable" IPA I know of. I have paid a lot more for beers that I didn't find to be nearly as satisfying.

If you are ever in Atlanta on a Wednesday-Friday night you should head up to their brewery and go on a tour. It's well worth it. Especially when they do releases of the really small batch stuff that they never even bottled.

FBD: Mardi Gras Bock.

I keep Abita in the regular rotation probably out of nostalgia.

Although I would love to support a local brewery, I just don't think it is any better than OK. No offense to those that like it, but I never buy the stuff unless my only other options are the BMC stuff.

I completely understand. I find Abita alright, but I usually have some on hand because it's a piece of home. I haven't lived in LA for over 12 years now. I do wish that I could get some of the NOLA beers here in Dayton, though.

I used to drink Abita back in the day and I enjoyed it. Turbodog was in my rotation, but there is so much more available now that is in a different class than Abita.

NOLA makes the best beers in LA in my opinion.

FBD: Abita SOS

I don't usually care for Abita but my choices were limited tonight and I thought I'd give it a try. I am pleasantly surprised.

Yeah, I really planned on only drinking one. That didn't work out. Three is the stopping point though.
