I won't post a picture because it's lame. Natural Light. Don't judge...it was the only thing in the fridge. Ran a half marathon this morning in under 2 hours so it tastes fricking delicious.

2BD was a Commotion. 3BD is a Day Tripper.

FBD. Something about this beer makes it perfect for a recovery day.

FBD - Hop Venom. Stopped in some random sports bar after playing a tennis match. I asked if it was fresh. The barkeep said yes. She lied. Either this is six months old, or they haven't cleaned their tap lines in that long. Or both. That's why I like going to my regular spots.

Second is a Holy City Brain Squasher. Pumpkin stout brewed with brain strain peppers. Last year's had heat on the finish reminiscent of Mexican Cake, which was great. This year has no heat and makes the beer mediocre. Disappointing.

tell me about this brew

It's one of Courtyard's beers so that's the only place you can get it. But if you can, you should.. because it's very good.

Ah, gotcha. It is one of Courtyard's many IPA's, American IPA. Very balanced with some great hop bitterness. Could probably fall in the Pale Ale category, but that is just a description anyway.
Assuming it is on tap, there will be some in BR shortly.

I haven't been back to Courtyard since that time we ran into you and they weren't serving their own beer yet. I really want to go back though.
