Buy a few and do both
It's going to develop really nicely, but it's a good beer fresh. I will say that I used to see these on shelves with some regularity in 2013 and early 2014 -- they've been absent since then. I feel like I remember liking it more back then than I do now. I think that probably has something to do with me having tried more sours and now having a better frame of reference. Still, it's a good beer.

is the Stone 08 encore release just the same recipe they used back then, or is it that plus having been aged @ the brewery for the last 7 years?
