FBD - Founders Rubaeus

A little sweet, but if you're in the mood for a fruity beer it's pretty good. Definitely a panty dropper...

ETA - It's actually too sweet...still a panty dropper, though

How is that? Worth picking up around Bama?

I think it is good. It is a little on the light side for my tastes, but it is solid. I bought it because it is in cans.

I'd imagine you'll get a few days out of it... Or you can just accept the inevitable and throw it away now!

FBD was a Lazy Magnolia Backwoods Belgian

SBD is a Parish Canebrake orange vanilla cask.

bullshite that they forced you to buy the food pairing with the beer for $15. Pelican House is really starting to piss me off.

7venth Sun here in Tampa does an Orange Creamsicle Wheat and it's awesome. I'd imagine the Canebrake would be good too..

Wait really? So 15 for meal when all you wanted was the beer (which was probably 10-12)

I'm giving up on it. I really wanted to try that beer. Turned around when I heard, Bulldog it is.

That's complete bullshite. I just ate before I left and was about to stop by for a pint of this cask specifically until I saw this.
Hello bait and switch.
Headed home now.

That is really lame about the pelican house cask. Now my excuse to not go (bc I spend too much on beer) makes legitimate sense. Drinking at home, cooking jambalaya and listening to the blues with my pups. Not a terrible evening.

I enjoy the PH more than most on this board (pints are a bit overpriced) but having to buy an entree for a beer is ridiculous

Negative.

I still haven't check out Pelican House, and by the sounds of it, I won't be.

Bulldog and Red Zepplin will continue to get my business when I'm in town.
