It's about time I let you guys know that my good friends at Three Floyd's and Surly have gotten together to brew a beer in honor of my sense of taste and decency.

LINK

quote:

The Brewpub has just released Urine Trouble in 750 mL bottles. $15 a bottle with a limit of 2 per person. It is a collaboration between us and Surly. An Imperial Brett IPA fermented with the unique strain of yeast Brettanomyces Lambicus. This yeast creates earthy barnyard notes along with pineapple-cherry pie aromas and flavors. Of course with the "IPA" style it’s hopped heavily.

Sounds right up my alley. I assume a bottle is in the mail.

How many lawyers we got on this site? I think there's plenty of mutual pain and suffering amongst the regular contributors of this board.

I tried that at a tasting a few weeks ago and I really enjoyed it. I saw it a few days afterwards at the Smith St. Specs.

I hope the guy does well, seems like a really small operation.

Last week they were out of Mikkeller milk stout and beer geek breakfast, two that you would like. If they have those you should go for them for sure.

Also make a trip down to Mathernes on Bluebonnet and even the one on Highland because they may have some of those straggling. Another 5 minutes won't hurt.

The Greek stout I know I can find at Rouses as well.... Milk stout I didn't know they had. They get deliveries every Tuesday so I wonder what is new that they got.

I enjoy both of those beers. Just because they are easily accessible does not make them average or substandard.

Easy, I wish Alexander's is only place I know with both in Baton Rouge. Calandros had different version of Rogue last time I went and Matherenes had neither as well lol
