FBD is a Mosaic DDH Envie. Very nice. Not quite the hop explosion of the 4XDH, not that there is anything wrong with that.

Is this a brewery release only again? I'm about to get off the Parish fanboy page. Time to cut back the Canebrake and Strawberry Canebrake production.

Is Grapefruit Holy Roller available outside of the Brewery?

I agree. I'm not hunting Parish anymore with so many other great local offerings out there. It's a shame that they've put aside some occasional hoppy offerings to mass produce canebrake.

Holy Roller Grapefruit is really solid and only at the brewery now.

Thanks, was worried about that. I really didn't want to make a trip to New Orleans

I've been quite salty with them lately. Glad it is going into distro, but can still be a hassle for someone with limited time on their hands. The midweek releases are what piss me off the most, while 90% of breweries have a weekend release. Seems like Envie variations are their main focus now.

I did see the commented that Dr. Hop will be back this summer, although they were vague as to when.

Where do you live? I could ship it but not sure if it's worth the hassle. They had that and modillion last week when I went. They were out of DDH HR.

Yeah was looking for some for Friday, so shipping is out. Shared with a guy last weekend who loved it and wanted me to get him some more.

quote:

We’re going to make a product that’s even more toward the lighter end of the spectrum. It’s called just “Parish” and it’s a pilsner or a lager. We’re going to try to make it as cheaply as possible so we can sell it for a price that competes with Yuengling or Budweiser or those kinds of beers. We want to make a legitimate, local, everyman’s beer.

Yay, more crap to take up valuable brewing room.
