FBD is deliciously DDH Commotion.

Dear Great Raft, NEVER go back to the old recipe.

How do you know if it is DDH Commotion and not the regular?

I'm guessing the date??

Mine was canned 12/16 and is nothing like what I've experienced from that beer before, so I'm non-maven palate is assuming this is the one.

Nice. That would be a great road trip. In June.

Good trip anytime road conditions allow it...
Plus grabbed a couple brews only made in December.
May try to come back for Octoberfest.

Extremely underwhelming from what I experienced trying local brews this past summer. If driving up there, do yourself a favor and grab some Wicked Weed and Foothills in North Carolina.

Nbd. This doesn't taste how I remember it. This is a bit musty, almost sock-like. Maybe it's just having drank a dank sour prior to this, but not tasty like I remember it

Don't know much about DC spots, but we have some really good breweries in Richmond. The Veil cranks out beers on the same level as Trillium and Treehouse, but distribution is mainly in-house. Hardywood has some good beers, and Stone opened their new brewery this year. The Answer Brewpub makes some great beers and has a high-level tap list.

So the 12/16 cans are just regular new recipe and not DDH?? Damn, can't imagine how good the DDH version must be!

2BD is fresh West Coast goodness.
