This BB Whiskey is really nice. I wonder if making whiskey from spent grain will catch on?

First 3 were Devil's Harvest, it's just a really drinkable beer. It gets shite on now because it shifted recipes and isn't Envie, but it's just really drinkable. It's super solid.
4BD was this at a SoPro event -- they were playing Stump so I had to show up.
5BD is a Prairie Coffee Noir

I like the Unnamed but I recall you saying you did not.

It's not my favorite. I don't rave about SoPro's barrel program in general. But they are by no means terrible beers. Split this one with their rep and it was very enjoyable. Good company and environs really elevate any beer.
ETA Apparently SoPro has a new IPA coming. More package than draft. I hope we buy it all up, because early word is that it's juicy. Buy it up and send the message that we like those beers.

I think within our region their barrel is pretty good but I get what your are saying.

One thing that is missed about SoPro is that while we consider them part of our market, they really aren't. They struggle with MS laws for production and distribution. They can't sell package on premise, for instance. If they could they would, and as a result they would generate much more revenue. Also it would affect their production. Supposedly that issue is coming to a vote in January. I hope things work out in their favor, because they can make excellent beers. And they know how. It's just a matter of having the capital and avenues of distribution to make it viable.
