Took a couple days off after a rough weekend.

Sam Adam's. Will Rogers airport sucks, and OKC has got to be the worst beer town in America.

I would think any place in Oklahoma would be pretty bad due to this:

quote:

In the state of Oklahoma, any alcoholic beverage containing more than 3.2% alcohol by weight or 4% alcohol by volume can only be sold at room temperature in state-licensed liquor stores. This includes wine, high-point beers and other liquor.

Grocery stores and convenience stores can only sell low-point beer (between 0.5% and 3.2% alcohol by weight).

Several states have laws similar to that or worse. OK does have Prairie Artisan Ales, who is phenomenal.

Was planning on hitting up the Ave Pub after work today to try some of the Dr. Hoptagon they're tapping, but I woke up this morning feeling like shite and now I'm just trying to get through work.

If I change my mind tho, any nola fbers that want to meet up i'd be down.

I'll be out there this evening. I've already had the Hoptagon so what really has caught my eye for tonight is the Stone Grapefruit Slam Ruination.

First and only beer of the day: Parish Canebrake at Mid City Bulldog. Did a 8 mile run through City Park. It's too damn hot considering October is creeping around the corner.

I'm cool with that but ol Lauren up there would tell you there's no point in aging their sours I believe. She's said they pasteurize them and they're ready to drink right off the bottling line the way they are.
