I've only had Rampant poured from the bottle. I have 3 left for the first taker.

Had a small pour of homebrewed pale ale before cutting the grass.

SBD was a Snake Handler.

No TBD today. Went for the bowl of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream instead.

I was lucky I got in my grass cut today. Didn't realize it'd rain...

Sweated my arse off. Which is why I went for a few beers tonight I guess.

FBD - LM Jeff Stout
SBD - Dale's Pale

Knew the MeridianDog thread would get hilarious, didn't expect 25 pages. Definitely deserves a generic :idon'twanttoliveonthisplanetanymore: gif, especially since most people on here can't fricking cook anyway. "I've never made this before and I can barely make toast, but I made this and EVERYONE LOVED IT!!1" Yep. ETA: Not an indictment of MD, generic comment about the FDB.

Rain? Didn't get a drop at my place. At least not today. The yard was like a jungle though after only 8 days.

Yes, Seemed to be only north of I10.

pretty nice little dousing.

I need to get my blade sharpened. Seemed like I was only tearing at the jungle.

How about coming home and finding the street flooded because some asshats drilled a hole through the water pipe for the street while trying to install new poles for power lines. Turned the water off about fifteen minutes later, but to their credit it's getting fixed tonight it appears. That's what you get when you export jobs to Kentucky (license plate of the contractor that drilled the hole). Eta or finding out that the garage you parked in goes from $8 for 8 hours to 25 for anything past 8 hours when you leave work. Usury.

Hopefully you can bill that shite to work. Seriously, how do you work an 8hour day with that type of billing.

Was it you who talked about using the street car? Or public transportation?

Yeah, I just haven't moved yet to do so. We get there around 7 and the other guys said they just park like three blocks away on the street with no issues, so I'll prob just do that from now on.

I'm well aware that there are thousands of restaurants in the city, but we ate here for the last 3 days and a couple stood out. Zushi Puzzle on Lombard was the best I've ever had for sushi and House of Nanking is an excellent Chinese restaurant.
