Absolutely. If I called the order in and then picked it up, there would be a risk that the order would be screwed up or the pizza would sit and get cold. I always sit at the bar and order and then drink a beer while I wait. This way I am insured of a hot pizza. The sacrifices I make for my family.

- I think I might have to switch to this method next time I get some pizza from Mama Della's. I don't know why I've never thought about that before.

I guess I always just call ahead and show up around 15 mins later but I may have to try this from now on.

It is a great strategy. If the kitchen is slow, you end up having 2 beers. But you get a hot pizza! I use this method for all my takeout food.

How else can you enjoy important beers if you don't order one while waiting for takeout?

True! That pic was taken at the bar at Sushi Yama waiting on takeout sushi.

Yes sir, great little Wednesday. Been on the wagon for a week. Self-imposed sanctions.

Nice. You sir, have really expanded your beer world over the last year.

SBD is a St. Arnold Endeavor. I may not abide by the guideline tonight. I am feeling it.

ETA: we've all discussed the bottle variation with Endeavor. I got another "different" one tonight. It is not bad, but lacks the wonderful fragrant hops component that I love. Not worthy of the tetu treatment by any means, but not the Endeavor I am used to.

How exactly do you follow up Pliny? With Westy XII of course. Shaping up to be a nice little Wednesday.

Damn dude. Did you get big news today or something??

ETA: Cue Zappa to come in and tell you the Westy should have been first.
