I grew up in the NOLA area, but it's been quite a while since I lived there. I'm going to be taking the family down this summer (including a toddler), so I'm trying to figure out where we should go eat well in advance.

Here are some places I'm considering:
Ruby Slipper
Cochon
Central Grocery
Parkway
Willie Maes

Where are some other recommendations that you guys may have for places? We will have our car, so location isn't an issue. Will be eating breakfast lunch and dinner for Saturday and Sunday and grabbing something on the way out on Monday morningish.

May be tough with a toddler. Seating is pretty dang tight.

ETA: Blue Oak is our favorite food spot to go with our kids

They have an entire outside seating area with tons of seating under shade. The line might be long, but plenty of seating available. Parkway would be fine with kid in tow.

Great food. Great beer. Great place. However, the seating here may very well be an issue depending on the day.

Could be pretty crowded during Memorial Day weekend for places which don't take reservations like Ruby Slipper. Also, are you planning on trying to feed the toddler food from the restaurants?

Luke might work for breakfast.

If you're looking for a muffalatta, take a look at R&O's. Theirs is excellent and the menu there is huge and can accommodate children.

High Hat is good and has a kids menu.

I haven't been to Elizabeth's, but would it work for breakfast/brunch/lunch?

I just always feel so damn crowded when at Parway. Having my two year old wouldnt be fun

Maybe. Always feel like the outside area is open with room to roam

I guess I am reading this wrong. If he is asking for places that are ok with having toddlers, he is good to go with everything on his list.

I was thinking of somewhere he could go and relax and let the little one have some room too
