but he claimed the steak at TJ Ribs was the same cuts and flavor as Ruth's Chris. No idea if that was/remains the same.

Not a steak house, but little village makes a solid steak

The wife and I have always enjoyed Flemings the most.
edit: just realizing you were the OP so you actually already knew my preference

Gino's is better than Flemings, IMO, but ask for bar table seating near the pianist. Screw a steak. Eat Gino's pasta and make a nice steak at home the next day.

My old man was a purchasing manager for Exxon back in the day, so he was treated to at least a couple of steak lunches every week. He preferred RC for their sides, but he claimed the steak at TJ Ribs was the same cuts and flavor as Ruth's Chris. No idea if that was/remains the same.
For filets, it's quite possible. For every other cut of meat, no.
The way that Ruth's Chris and TJ's Ribs cook their steak, are in fact, the same.

My ranking used to be Fleming's, Ruth's Chris, Doe's, Stroubes.
Never did try Stab's.

Actually, my backyard is probably my favorite place because is so easy to do. Then followed by Ruth's and then Doe's.

The answer is Mansurs. Surf and turf

Stroubes.
Man I had a disappointing steak there the other night. It was my first time going, so, I don't want to write it off completely, but I almost sent it back.. And I NEVER send food back.

I went last night and while the steak was good, was not worth $108 for a 12 oz filet with a little bit of crabmeat on top.

I've never had a good meal at Stroubes. I won't go back.
Eating at Doe's tonight.
