I actually don't use sauce on my BBQ, but on things that I want a "bbq flavor" on. Beef bbq never gets sauce. Just saltines and bbq, with a Big Red for me.

I don't like much sweet sauce and I've become more of a thinner sauce fan. I like them just sauce not with onions or anything else in them. Heated on the side mostly.
