I saw Scott Conant(Scarpetta) do this skirt steak Today Show while waiting at my Doctor's office recently and really enjoyed it so I'm doing that tomorrow. My pops will likely make a taco out of it but it's his day so I'll be sure to have some tortillas, cheese, and sautéed onions ready for him. Otherwise, I'll be grilling some Asparagus and baking some little red potatoes to serve as one would normally with a standard baked potato.

Skirt Steak

Edit: somehow copied the wrong link.

I'm making myself a surprise father's day dinner, cooking it today to serve tomorrow, one of the nice things about dementia. Tomorrow I can say, "wow, who did all the cooking".

Scampi, roasted cauliflower/garlic soup, Greek salad.

Platins from Hebert's in Abbeville
Rice and gravy
Navy beans
Roasted fingerling potatoes
Garlic bread
Fresh berries with cream for dessert

Heavy on the starches, but it only Father's Day once a year.
