The Munch Factory back when it was in Gentilly

Really enjoyable food. Haven't been back to town to try their new location

a friend and I ate at a restaurant several hundred yards north of Middendorf's in Manchac. I had oyster poorboy and friend had roast beef poorboy.

We both commented it was the best we ever ate.

I was working in Taft California outside of Bakersfield, a coworker took me to a place called asian experience. it's the best thai food i have had outside of thailand. We talked to the owners, the wife was from thailand, the husband was local but said the restaurant did so well he quit his good job in the oilfield to work there.

I've got a ton of these places but that one really stood out. Pretty much any alley you walk down in Tokyo you can get awesome street food.

Very good place.
It's one of many of the neighborhood places that 90% of the Metry folks don't know about because it's not on a busy street. Damn good though.

Hot Tamale Heaven in Greenville. Best I've ever had

I was totally going to post this. It’s a freaking storage shed but the tamales are sick.

Just down the road in Eudora, AR is the Double Quick gas station with fried chicken so good there’s a line out the door.

They have another in the main road through Lake Village. It’s in a yellow trailer.
