Dumpling and dim sum restaurants in Baton Rouge?

I’m looking for a place different for me and the wife to try for lunch. I see there are 2 dumpling restaurants in the BR area now, Dumpling & Bao and Dumpling Hour. I haven’t been to either, is one better than the other?
Also, are there any places in BR that has good dim sum? TIA

I don't believe there's a dim sum place here but both Dumpling and Bao and Dumpling Hour are good man. DH has better ambiance IMO but the food at both is comparable.

Thai Kitchen has some dim sum. It is OK.

There is a market behind there that has some awesome stuff. Wife and I picked up some homemade dumplings and bao from their freezer section and threw them in a bamboo steamer at home. Outrageously good. You can tell it was made by some Chinese grandma.

Not BR, but if you ever going thru Nola, try Yummy House in Kenner. Right off the interstate.

That’s where I go for dim sum. Very good food. I was just wondering if there is anything closer in BR

Dumpling hour is legit. Soup Dumplings are a star.
