I knew Dominique Rizzo before he opened the place. So I loved the original. BUT I think it's still good. In fact, a couple of things are improved.

fricking whining babies.

Read that earlier today. Doesn't sound like it's affected his bottom line. I think people expected no change and were disappointed when there were some changes, but I bet most of them are still going there.

Uptown people.

Claim to want good pastries and support District Donuts at the same time.

Go figure.

They ruined several things I like and stopped offering a couple others. Couple that with an increase in price, and I'll find other places to go.

I was in there a month ago (I go frequently) and an old blue blood was bitching about the number of olives in some loaf of bread since Donald took over. I was laughing at him bc I was picturing this douche counting olives in his bread. Some people just live to be miserable.

I do miss the classic croque Monsieur.

Nothing I buy there has been ruined. In fact, a couple of the muffins have improved. Haven't paid attention to the price.

There has been a very negative response from some quarters, particularly on social media.

They mean the F&D Board.
