The same Philistines on this board who say they don't wash their hands after they urinate because they were only touching skin.

But they’re also filling those bottles for single-day use from a massive bulk container of ketchup that’s kept—gasp—in the refrigerator.

I was a server at one of the busiest restaurants in Baton Rouge and we did not refill or "marry" our ketchups. We had cases of plastic bottles of ketchup in our kitchen and would grab a new one and put it on the table as needed.

And it was in dry storage, not the walk-in cooler.

OMG I will go to battle over this ? I fricking hate cold ketchup.

My daughter loves ketchup but hates it cold. It doesn't stick around in our pantry long enough to spoil anyway. A 38 oz bottle of Heinz might last 2-3 weeks tops.

unrefrigerated ketchup > cold ketchup.

Agree on a hot dog, but enjoy it cold on hot French fries. No accounting for taste.

You're dogging ketchup, but admit to eating mayo?

We used to mix them together and call it French dressing. We were poor.

I eat them in salads. I don't like them on burgers. I like just about any kind of condiment except for relish.

Room temp or chilled, a bottle of ketchup will be lucky to last a month, much less a year

We kept our refillable one on the wall in the kitchen You go through it within like 3 days anyway.
