Same. They have the best salsa and their fajita beef quesadillas are amazing.

The Hanger. Cool waterfront pub. It's got a deck for nice days, the seaplane dock is just below

Yeah, decades ago it was the hanger for Alaska Coastal Airlines and their Grumman Goose. Coastal later became Alaska Airlines.

Does a bar count?

I live in the burbs but happen to have a really great Mexican place, Mediterranean place, and sushi place basically in my neighborhood. We probably hit the sushi place once a week and one of the other two once a week too.

The sushi place management is a poster child for how to run a business. I'm sure there are many folks who go way more than us, especially if you discount our takeout. But if we go on a weekend and there is a wait, the owner always comes up to me within 3 minutes with a handshake and a beer "for the wait" (no charge). If he does that for all the semi regulars, he'll be open forever. Waitstaff is superb. Food is exceptional. Love that place.

Sushi joint that is around the corner. When the owners recognize me, it is a clear signal that I frequent it.

In Bham:

My wife and I go to Chez Fonfon for lunch every other Friday. We have done it consiently since our oldest was born in 2014. I usually get their burger (which is the best burger I’ve ever had...and close to best beef entree I’ve had anywhwre) . Wife will switch it up.

Chinese place called Formosa for lunch. Once a week for about 10 years. The owner had a serious illness in family and they closed it for 3.5 years around 2011. Opened back up in 2015. I get the same thing for lunch every time....Mongolian Beef with steamed rice. Comes with cup of hot & sour soup, egg roll, and soda/tea. All for 8.95.

La Tienda on Siegen. They don't even bother giving me a menu because they know what I'm ordering

This place is soooooooo damn good. Best chips and salsa in the city, and one of the best places I've found for Mexican food since I lived in San Diego.
