re: Do you cook meals at home?
I cook every night or we eat leftovers. The only eating out we do is sushi usually once every other week.

Eating out/take out is such an enormous waste of money

re: Do you cook meals at home?
I'm a terrible cook but I do it anyway. I might eat out once a week.

That doesn't mean I cook every night though, usually make a big pot or pan of something and eat it for a few days. I also don't eat breakfast so I only worry about two meals a day.

re: Do you cook meals at home?
I replaced fast food with meal prep.

My wife and I can spend less than an hour and get 2 crockpots going with healthy meals. After they're cooked we dish them into bowl-shaped freezer trays to freeze, and then we pop them out and vacuum seal them.

About 2 hours total work put in and we can get 10-15 very healthy homecooked frozen meals for one that can be heated up in less time than running to a fast food joint, dealing with idiots getting your order wrong, etc.
I know exactly what's going into my food now

re: Do you cook meals at home?
I live by myself so I pretty much cook every night I'm at home unless I go out to a restaurant. It's pretty easy, after work I go to the gym, run by fresh market after and grab a fresh protein and some veggies. Takes 10-15 minutes to cook at home. Oh and the wine that pairs with the protein.

No one in my house has a BMI considered to be unhealthy and my ticker / cholesterol are just fine. Enjoy your moral superiority though.

Has nothing really to do with morality and everything to do with objective facts.

You are feeding yourself and your children pure shite that is slowly killing people and the real epidemic in this country. If you want to keep doing that, go ahead it's your prerogative.

re: Do you cook meals at home?
I usually grill 3-4 times a week. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday or Sunday.

Wednesday is church night for me so I usually pick up Chick-Fil-A after around 9. Chickfila gets old every Wednesday, but I don't feel like sitting in anyone elses drive thru for an hour at 9pm. Friday is usually Mexican food if we go out and Chinese if we stay in. Saturday and Sunday is either pizza or I'll grill something else.

We don't cook meat much in the kitchen. My family prefers it grilled. My wife will 'cook' a steamable bag of veggies that my boys ignore. We don't really schedule it out, but normally it works out the same.

The wife and I meal prep for the week on Sundays and cook a fresh hot meal for dinner sometimes. We go out Fridays and/or Saturdays. It gets expensive either way when its only two of us and we aren't cooking in bulk.

Fresh meat from a butcher, brown rice, wheat pasta, fresh veggies, olive oil, herbs and seasonings are slowly killing us, folks.

You heard it here first from some random dude on the internet named after a child toucher. Can't believe I did not know eating healthy wasn't actually eating healthy until you came along. I guess I should thank you for saving my life, fricking hero.

Now address the stews, casseroles, sandwiches, cereals, pizza. Hey, congrats 30% of your meals may be somewhat healthy.

1. Made with the ingredients named above.
2. Portion Control. Everything in moderation. Once a week ain't killing anyone.

Got any more heaters?

I usually blacken some speck and baked veggies or make fish tacos with home made pico during the week for dinner. For lunch during the week I usually prep Pork tenderloin, chicken or a ground turkey dish on Sunday. Some weeks my wife will cook a dish like zucchini lasagna to reheat for dinner every night

re: Do you cook meals at home?
Keep it simple on weeknights. Usually a protein and a veggie, nothing special. On the night where the kids have all their activities, it's usually a taco night. Friday will be steaks or burgers or something along those lines.
