I've recently started a law clerkship at a firm and one of the best things is almost every day we go to lunch with attorneys and they pay for our meal. If not, the kitchen is stocked with some foods, best lunch situation I've ever been apart of.

That's a good perk for the clerkship. Summer clerkship is like summer camp for law students though, not a great gauge for what it will be like to actually work there.

WFH now but do the same thing I did in office.
Meal prep on Sunday and bring it every day.

It depends. We have an on-site cafeteria that I usually use for the salad bar. I can get a nice salad and a side (like a yogurt) for $6. Some days I go out to lunch with coworkers /leader /peers. If I work from home, it is usually a quick bagged salad.

It's been pretty good so far. I've been given a lot of projects already but I haven't been overwhelmed. Still getting grasp on things.

Use a lunchbox instead of a brown bag but typically bring a lunch unless I'm running late. Easier and cheaper.

I eat out 99% of the time unless I have a 5 alarm fire going on in which case I will either skip eating or grab some breakfast food that is stocked in one of the kitchens at work.
Going out to eat prevents interruptions unless something is so dire my staff feels it is necessary to call me. I eat lunch at 1 so there are fewer people in the restaurants and I get a table off in a corner and read the (paper) newspaper I grabbed from our library. It is my time to decompress and recharge for the rest of the day. It has been my routine for over 20 years and I would hate to sit in the office and eat.

I eat leftovers 3-4 days a week at work. I stock them in my work freezer. The other 1-2 days I'll get a salad from the nearby grocery or get take out. I rarely dine in at restaurants for lunch anymore. Just takes too much time and is an unnecessary expense for me. Plus, I like to eat quickly at my desk as I tend to leave work by 4pm.

Brown bag it most of the time. Everything is so far away from I work most of the time it’s not worth the drive for the quality of food around.
I’ll usually make a big meal on Sunday and eat it throughout the week.
Much more cost effective and heathy too,

I save my 2000+ dollars a year and bring my own lunch.

Only go to office two or three days a week. Try to only eat out once a week for lunch.
It's funny that now that I work where there are tons of options close by I don't go eat much. Back in the day when I used to have to get in the car and drive places, I would eat our 3 or 4 days a week. Always felt like I need to get out of the office for a break.
Used to have a manager many years ago that ate a bologna sandwich every single day for lunch. That was it.
Also knew a guy who ate a bag of microwaved popcorn every day. Every day that was his lunch.

I work from home or I'm at the client site. When I'm home it's leftovers/sandwiches. When I'm on the road the client is picking up my lunch bill so we eat out.

I bring a lunch like 80% of the time. I work near where my parents live and I try to have lunch with them every week or two.

I do the same think or will have a different fruit than an apple. I love how it’s simple, healthy and surprisingly keeps you full and not feel sluggish.

Hybrid schedule. On days I'm in the office, I go out. I get to leave the office and walk around for a bit and don't have to wake up early to make a sandwich that will be soggy by lunch. Usually Subway or Smoothie King.

I work from home most days, so usually I go downstairs and have lunch at home with my wife. If I have to go into the office for a meeting or have a day I’m the field with one of the reps, I’ll go out to eat.

I eat lunch in a restaurant every day, it’s my time to unwind and helps me get through second half of day.
Eta: it usually includes a glass of wine or two
