I went for my honeymoon, so the answer is yes.

Some people waste their money on trips to vegas, football season tickets and travel, hunting, fishing, big houses, and fancy cars. I guess it is all in what you want.
I do agree about not taking kids that are way to young to even remember.

is the trip for you or them ? don't tell me YOU want to go to disney world and YOU want to be served a reheated patio mexican dinner by a human geing in a giant goofy suit for $75 .. what are you doing ?? trying to make yourself feel like a better parent because you can tell your kids you took them to disney when they were 2 ?? i just don't see why you wouldn't do that when they are at an age when you'll get more bang for your buck and they will actually remember it on their own for the rest of their lives ..

1. Ours went for the first time in August at age 6.
2. The trip was for us as much as for her. Specifically, we waited until she was old enough not to need a stroller or to be carried.
3. We are going without her in January. My wife enjoys Disney much on the same level as I enjoy LSU sports. I love it too, though of course not to that extreme.
4. We do not go in order to create a fixed permanent memory of going to Disney World. We have a unique experience each time.
5. Enjoying yourself there requires 'a suspension of disbelief'. Sure, that's a guy in a goofy suit. Sure, it's expensive.

I have to hear a little more about this.

We were trying to pinch pennies for our honey moon so we went with another couple who had a free room for 5 nights(we spent two nights alone in N.O. before flying to Orlando).
The other guy was just finishing a stint pitching in the major league and his wife was hot, so it did have some advantages.

I understand that you're just looking for dinner places, LSUfan4444.

I was just saying I would rather eat Chili's and go see Cirque de Soliel than go to the Hoop dee doo review.

Blue Man group is also an excellent show, I went see them at Beau Rivage this past Summer. Worth every penny.

god I love that show...
I am a big fan of Mama Melrose and the 50's Prime Time Cafe in the studios. Either would be an excellent choice imo, but I work at that park in the summer as a creepy bellhop, so I'm kind of biased.

because i am sure in a few years my hard-earned tax dollars will have to bail them out of the three-year interest only ARM that they couldn't afford ..

oh and to answer your question .. what part of IMO don't you understand ?? i.e. in my opinion .. i.e. it's my personal opinion .. just like you might think les miles should have hired a defensive coordinator last spring .. that's your opinion .. i'm not going to say "why do you care what les miles does with his defense" ..

So you're the one who bails out all the people who take their kids to Disney World? Tell me, can I afford to take my 5 year old niece to EPCOT?

I actually liked Mayan Grill in Corando Springs. I had a steak and some grilled veggies that I still crave. However, it will be completely boring for your little ones. I haven't eaten at the really cool places because when we decide to make a trip to DWD, it is usually a month or two before we actually go so reservations are non-existent.

Why stop there? Why pick up an infant that is crying? Why rock them? Why feed kids ice cream before age six?

They won't remember it.

I feel sorry for you current or future kids.

If you can afford it and want too take the family to Disney go.

Woooooooo I don't have any either!

Then if you have an open space, it is quiet, the service was kind of eh, but the food was pretty good.
