Odds are the machine is down at McD's. You can buy the chocolate that hardens at the grocery store and pour it over a bowl of ice cream.
As to something it took me way to long to discover like this...

This. I hardly ever go there but yesterday I was craving an ice cream cone. Pulled up to the drive through and noticed the dipped cones on the menu and was all like "BOOM, that's goin in my belly".
