Dinner recomendations for a group NO, Saturday Night

A group from our Church will be in New Orleans Saturday working with a Sister Church at Sojourner Truth on Lafette Street in Treme. We need a cost sensible place for 8-10 of us to eat Saturday Night. The cost needs to be Lower, because some who are coming are not TD-OT-Plant Operator wealthy.
Any ideas?
If you want to drop by Saturday 10:30 am - 12:00 noon, we are working a block party at the Sojourner Truth Neighborhood Center on the Greenway on Lafitte Avenue. I will be the old white haired fart tying free balloon animals for the kids. (grilling burgers for the folks toward suppertime) I anticipate my areas will be crowded all day. Assistant teacher (to the wife MHNBPF) at children's church there on Sunday morning.
So what suggestions do you guys have for tired folks for dinner?

I'd stop by and say hello MD but I have something going on that day.
I would suggest either Cochon Butcher or Willie Mae’s

Willie Mae's is really close. Good?

I was going to say Katies but with that many people they will wait forever. Don't take reservations.

I second Mandina's. They take reservations. It's casual. The menu is large and prices vary. For example, you can get a whole poboy or a half. Servings are generous.
I don't know what your price point is, though.

He can probably make every entree on their menu better than they do, but his group will like it.
Sucks for a foodie to go to NOLA and have to eat basic food. So many good places...but they’re not cheap and not very accessible to those not interested.

He would need to make sure they would give individual checks as well for a group. I didn't look at that.
We went as a large group and it was just fine.

All those spots are in Mid-City and if they find it still too expensive they can stop at Rouses on Carrollton and pick up an assortment of cold cuts, a few loaves of French Bread, a 12 pack of cold beer and head to City Park and eat under the oaks.

That suggestion is horrible

Not exactly sure how late they stay open but Bevi is right there and could also be a good choice.

bevi is a great suggestion open till 8pm on saturdays
The only problem with Bevi is seating. There are tables outside but not much in the way of that inside, but their food is solid.
This is a church group, so this may not be the best place for them to eat being as how it's a bar that serves food, but Beachcorner is another solid Mid-City go-to place if hungry. Their burgers are excellent and the tuna on burger bun is really good and a great value for the money spent. I do believe they have an outside patio set up behind the bar, but I've never used it so I'm not sure how well it would work for their situation.
