She seems like shes more about gossip, talking loud, and life stuff as opposed to making awesome food.

Dude she went from a cable network to Network (NBC). I'm sure the pay was a factor.

I saw a list that she's the third highest paid celebrity "chef," only behind Gordon Ramsey and Guy Fieri, she made over $10 million last year. She probably told Food Network she didn't have time to be there anymore. Having her own show on network TV and her own empire to keep track of probably takes up most of her time.

She made millions selling garbage bowls alone.

Yeah just another woman on tv that has built up a cult following of chicks with nothing to do all day.
I dont view her as anything more than an average home cook.

Rachel Ray has been highly successful. She's won an Emmy or maybe more than one. I think she's been nominated a number of times. I don't think her food is intended to be "awesome", but more practical and quick meals in the kitchen which is why she appeals to the home cook, particularly those with families. I can't say that I've made any of her meals/recipes, but I do watch her from time to time for ideas for quick meals. Food looks tasty to me.

If she gains a few more pounds, she won't be on the TV much longer, IMO.

It is rather freaking brilliant if you think about it.

Truly, in addition to her other products. I think people love those spoons that sit on the edge of the pots, too. She went with bright colors for her kitchenware and the odd shaped skillet/pot with the lid. My sister has one of those and uses it religiously.

this. She swole up like a dead toad in July. She used to have somewhat of a figure, albeit a full one. But now shes just another fat-arse talk show hack who can cook. I think the changes imposed on her by the network will be her undoing.

Agree.
I don't watch her show or make her recipes simply because they rarely interest me, and I find her voice kinda annoying, but she definitely fills a niche and does a good thing.
As far as the cookware goes, I have a Rachel Ray knife.. a Paula Dean nonstick skillet.. etc. When I need something, and it goes on sale at Macy's, and it looks/feels like it is decent quality, I'm buying it!
I have both the small and the large of these from Martha Stewart. Love them so much.

I was at a coffee shop the other day and her show was on their tv. Man she packed on some lbs.

I didnt know she was on tv to show people how to make 'awesome' food. Imo, she is there to show people how to cook relatively simple things for their friends and family.
She isnt supposed to be Iron Chef Morimoto on her show
