Did Popeyes get rid of their mac and cheese in the NOLA area?

I had a craving for a two piece spicy and a mac and cheese side tonight. I got up to the drive thru and placed my order. You can imagine my shock and disgust when the lady told me that they no longer have mac and cheese. I had to settle for red beans and rice (not really settling because Popeyes red beans and rice is the tits, but still...).
Is this a new development? Do the NOLA area Poepeyes no longer have mac and cheese? Who do I call? When does the boycott start? Help me. Help. Me.

I've never seen mac and cheese at popeye's... and I loved the stuff. How did I never notice this?!?! I always get onion rings with my chicken

The Lafayette all you can eat buffet is the only popeyes I’ve seen have Mac n cheese

My 10 year old is a very picky eater and loved the Mac and cheese from Popeyes. I asked when it stopped showing up in the menu and they said they no longer sell it. This is New Orleans/Metairie area as well.

Ordering onion rings at Popeye's was a guarantee that you'd have to wait. Not worth it.

I hope not. I just found out yesterday for the first time that popeyes even has/had mac when I made an order for lunch today. If they no longer do, I don't know what side I am getting.

You have corporate owned popeyes in Nola that could have a different side than an Al jr owned popeyes in Nola
They still have the option of Mac and cheese and onion rings (which suck ever since they stopped making in house). Can only have 8 sides on the menu I believe

Speaking of Al Jr does not look like he has his dads entrepreneurial spirit. No new ideas and more closures of his dads concepts.
Sad to learn on here that the onion rings are different and not made in house anymore. My three favorite sides used to be the dirty rice, onion rings and homemade biscuit. Now I am left with just chicken. Frustrating!

Their website Popeyes still lists Mac & Cheese as a Signature Side item. Must be up to the franchise owner whether or not they sell it.
