Why do you post this stupid fricking shite all the time? And what possesses a grown man to type like a 6 year old girl day in and day out on here? Do you have a job? I guess I could ask that retard bitch Toof the same question if he saunters in here. I'm generally curious.

Just FYI, you're one of my top 5 favorite posters of all time.

I just feel sorry for his dog.

You know he kicks the shite out of that thing once a day.

This is a good choice.

I think a harder question would be where to have one last drink.

Cooter Brown's, Maple Leaf, and St. Joe's are on my list today.

I also have a soft spot for Kingpin.

From an outsider’s prospective…there are only two restaurants in New Orleans that are absolute must visits every time I visit my in laws/wish I could transport to Houston…Peche or R&O’s…if I were moving away from New Orleans or not being within a reasonable drive without the prospect of returning…those are the two places I’d go.

If you want iconic casual, I would go to Casamento’s. Their hours are odd, but if it fits your schedule, that’s where I would go.

I see OP wants dinner rec as last meal. I guess I would say Liuzza’s for iconic casual. Or R&Os

I'd go to my neighborhood, casual restaurant. The kind of place they know you. I'd have a last meal, tip well, say my goodbyes.

id get a proper po boy to go and go sit somewhere nice and quiet outside. im not gonna suggest a po-boy spot because we had that debate just last week and multiple times before, there plenty of good ones around.

From an insider's perspective you should quit giving suggestions. R&Os is shite food on crouton poboy bread.

Peche is overrated trash, but you have a problem with the greatest po boy place in the metro area????

Weird, dude

What state are you moving to? If you are moving to the middle of nowhere it decreases your chances of finding a decent place that exemplifies the NOLA flavor.

If that's the case, I'd go to the most traditional NOLA spot or best local seafood spot possible.

Good luck! Moved to western NY two years ago - there will come a time you will miss your favorite NOLA dishes
