Yep. And soy instead of dairy...one of these "guys"

It really doesn't matter though

When expert in field A and expert in field B both vote the same way and push the same dubious things outside of their respective disciplines (global warming histrionics, COVID, trans/guns/BLM whatever else we can shoehorn into a scientific consensus), people aren't going to go "well listen I distrust the CDC on coronavirus issues but I totally accept the APA's guidance on _____"

It's an across the board decline of expert credibility among the public, and these ideas/myths as they may be will continue to take root.

No, it doesn’t. Read the article I posted and go do some other research for yourself. The science does not support this.

The credibility hasn't declined, the public's overall intelligence (or at least their ability/desire to research and think critically) has.

The latest talking points are that the education system is declining. Well...

Being clever on the internet is more important than discussion. Half these guys probably still wear masks and think the FDA is their friend.

I don’t think many people really thought soy made me. more feminine through a scientific process. Maybe some conspiracy types but not anywhere near the majority of people. I think it was more that the culture and people that would influence a person especially me. into eating soy products are inherently anti-masculine so it more of a socialization thing that an actual physical change. So not that the soy made you less masculine but that eating soy was an example of rejecting traditional Masculine traits.

I agree but most fail to understand any of this. Alcohol is literally poison when consumed at very high quantities but a 12 pack of beer or even a 5th of liquor is not going to kill you. It's the same with every single food or drink that is deemed "bad for you". Dose is a real thing

You're right we should just believe all internet articles written by doctors...

quote:

Read the article I posted

I don't need to, it's the same regurgitated B.S. you get from this supposed research that takes place to give a direct ed outcome the author is looking for..

quote:

go do some other research for yourself.

I have actually and a lot of it .. and had made myself a guinea pig as well .. I've tried several (i hate to call them diets) dietary lifestyle choices over the past couple years and you know which one I felt the worst one?? I'll give you a hint.. It had a lot of plant based crap.. soy included.. Now granted my journey and findings are purely anecdotal.. . But the results I've been able to witness aren't..

quote:

The science does not support this.

lord.. Who's science? they used to tell us eggs were bad, use margarine over butter and don't get me stared on the damn food pyramid they rammed down our throats in grade school.... It's all bullshite...

That said, I'm not saying you can never have something with with soy in it... Will having soy whatever every once in a while give you bitch tits.. No.. Will consuming soy lattes daily along with (insert whatever) soy substitute item daily affect the male body... My findings say absolutely.

you're findings are anecdotal at best as you stated. You are an n of 1. you are statistical irrelevant. you didnt compare yourself to any controls. Any perceived changes could have been for any reason, including a simple food allergy to one of thousands of compounds in soy.

no bother addressing the rest of your asinine post because you wont listen anyway. id be better off talking to a rock.

What does this have to do with it?

Look, if you're all about the soy, ok fine. You don't have to qualify it with this shite. Be a man, proudly consume your soy. You don't owe these frickers an explanation for your soy ways.

He likely wouldn't have to make that clarification if there's wasn't ample misinformation floating around on this website, X, and many other alt-right circle jerks suggesting that moderate and left leaning males typically had lower testosterone levels than men of the opposite side of the political spectrum.

My gawd you reek of tiny dick energy ... The fact that this is all you had to bark back on by basically repeating exactly what stated plus adding insults means you have no real response or argument begin with... You were the one that brought that random arse article written by a no name doctor that doesn't even list dietician/ nutritionist in her extensive education and expected it to be taken as gospel. And big shocker someone going to have a differing opinion to offer... All the articles, videos and podcast that i've dove into on this current journey has been eye opening and revealing that and followed true to what i personally experienced as well as thousands upon thousands of others

Not listen?? lulz.. Because I didn't buy it hook line and sinker and was argumentative?? I'll listen to just about anything.. But does that mean I have to agree.. No.. Just like you don't have to agree with me because that your prerogative..

I don't know why you're being downloaded because you're pretty much correct on all counts.

The last one, carbs are fine as long as they're being used for fuel. If not then I would say they do have adverse effects on your body that generally can lower testosterone in males.

I avoid it, soy, sugar, and highly refined seed oils as much as possible.

My bloodwork looks incredible as a result.
