Crown always fricks be up

It's Canadian whiskey, not bourbon. Drink it on the rocks only. No water or other mixers!

It had its run but was over marketed.

Not invited into the room. Same for Makers.

Some of my favorites are:
Peg Leg Porker 12 year
Elijah Craig Barrel Proof
Old Ezra 7
Weller 107
Woodford Double Oaked
Henry Mekenna 10 year
Jack Daniel’s Special Release Rye
Smoke Wagon Uncut
Four Rose’s Special Select
Four Rose’s single barrel
Old Forrester 1910 and 1920
Eagle Rare
Of the ones I’ve tried, Weller and Eagle Rare are really good.
And both reasonably priced, if you can find them.

That said, it's a lie to say that you can't find good bourbon for a reasonable price. Basil Hayden is one for instance.
If you like Basil Hayden, you can get the same whiskey much cheaper in Old Grand-Dad. Even has a photo of BH on the label.

Wild Turkey.

Same place as ULM would rank in the SEC

I like Crown but only when mixed with Sprite.
Same for Jack Daniels No 7...good with coke and that's it.

i like bourbons and american whiskeys. if i am having a cocktail or two with some friends, i'll drink something fancy but if i am going to be drinking quantity, i'm drinking crown

Crown Royal is to whiskey what Chivas Regal is to whisky.

I only drink whiskey on ice b/c I'm a fricking man. I felt this should be noted.

FYI - Boubon is Kentucky made whiskey made with at least 51% corn
Bourbon doesn’t have to come from Kentucky.

Crown is nothing more than Seagrams repackaged into a fancy bottle with a purple cloth bag to make it look expensive.
I'd rather Old Crow or regular Beam for mixing. Knob Creek, Pappy van Winkle or Blanton's when I am not fricking around.

I’d put it right before Patron and right behind Grey Goose.

no, but it can't come from Canada, it's a snob thing, just like "Champagne" can only come from the Champagne region of France, everything else is just sparkling wine

If you’ve tasted enough bourbons, yes. Most have not. They just buy what they’re told is the trendy bourbon of the day
The most consumed whiskeys by far are Jack and Jim, so I'm not sure where you're getting that idea.

My dyslexia kept seeing this:
Instead of Crown and Coke. How about a Crown and RC cola?

It’s not a bourbon so it doesn’t track at all.
