Anyone know what the price for live is now? I heard on the radio this past week that price was expected to drop $.50

When is Easter?

I know all my co-workers who moonlight as crawfishers are not doing much this year. Price isn't worth it.

Of course, prices will go up because of lack of supply.

I paid $1.59/lb this morning for pond at Westbank Seafood. River was $2.49/lb. Sizes were very similar.

Sometimes River is bigger. I always assumed pond is farm raised, never asked though.

Don't get why everyone is so worried about crawfish prices up in here. $.50/lb difference means less than $20 difference per sack.
