Looking for a good crock pot recipe. Preferably something that will end up with a gravy

They’re basically a cut up bone in pork butt. Season and sear then toss in the pot with an onion and some stock and smother down until tender. Shouldn’t take more than 3-4 hours on high.

This strikes me as something MeridianDog provably has a ridiculously appetising recipe for.

I do them on the grill. I have cooked a small pork roast in the crock pot several times, but never country ribs.

AKA Pork Fingers. I've smoked them, grilled them and cooked them down in a pot with some stock and vegetables for seasoning on the stove like a stovetop pot roast.

It's almost impossible to screw these up and the longer they cook, the more tender they get until the meat simply falls apart.

I use pork butts to make my boudin and let it cook for hours and by then it is pretty much shredded on its own.

They are so good grilled. Marinate or not, little brown sugar and some spice. A good sear then cook until done. Damn I might go back to the store now.

Never made them in a crock pot. Usually cook them on the smoker and make Sticky Fingers...

Season with rub and smoke for 1-2 hours. I do this on my gas grill with a smoker tube and indirect heat, 275 for the whole cook.

Then pull and put in a pan with 50/50 pineapple juice and bbq sauce. I tend to do about 75% pineapple juice/25% bbq sauce. Cover and back on the grill. Let braise about 2-3 hours.

Carefully pull out and put back on the grill. Sauce and let it tack up for about 10 minutes, enjoy! A monkey couldn't screw it up.

Cool them like brats. Aluminum pan with a white can and Jack miller’s. Sear/smoke and transfer to pan back and forth until tender. Cest bon.
