Anniversary dinner with homegirl tonight. First time dining at CP for both of us.
Recommendations of all manner are appreciated.
TIA, and let's Geaux Tigers!

Marinated shrimp/jalapeno jus, and the goat curry. I liked the bites of trio of pork that I had, but my husband wasn't overly impressed with that dish. Don't get full on the biscuits!

Fantastic spot. One of those menus where you can throw a dart and probably hit a winner, however:
The tuna tartare is tremendous (and I typically avoid tuna tartare) as is the shrimp appetizer with jalapeno jus.
Any and all of her pastas that I have tried have been top notch, and the hot fire chicken is worth an order. Just a great restaurant all around.

I think I had goat curry last time I went, it was good.

Ate there about 6 months ago. If you didn't have a reservation at that time, you weren't getting in. Don't know if seating is still that tight.
Menu was very different but all food was excellent.
I believe they described it as Caribbean Creole. Went with a lot of the waitress recommendations. Be open to trying something you haven't had before.

Aw, good to know. We spent a few nights at The Pontchartrain a couple weekends ago, and it was so sweet.
I agree with the Curried Goat at CL. Really good.

Far better hotels in the area.
Scialatielli/Clams/Shrimp/Chili is spectacular.
Curried Goat/Sweet Potato Gnocchi/Cashews is also wonderful
+1 on the Hamachi app (Hamachi/Leche De Tigre/Cancha)

Make sure you are seated in the back room past the bar. I love this place but the dining experience suffers greatly if you are seated at one of the tables in the bar area.
If they have the goat offals bolognese, this is a must order.
