Cocktails for Coonass

Spinoff of the Cocktails with Gumbo thread. I'll go ahead and say that Hurricanes are just not good. Same for Handgrenades. Sazerac is alright, but I prefer a good bourbon neat.
We have jambalaya, gumbo, etouffee, fricassee, poboy - any number of fantastic dishes. People who leave here come back for this stuff.
What is our official, prideful cocktail? Do we just consume whatever is cheap, and are we drunken coonass that can't be helped?

Pimm's Cup and Vieux Carre come to mind.
Although I really wouldn't consider these "Coonass" on second thought.

The cocktail of choice for my grandparents and their siblings when I was a tee-garcon was a highball. Basically whiskey and ginger ale.
Also crown & coke like someone else said, and ice chests filled with Miller Lite. Can shed a tear reminiscing about our frequent gatherings growing up.
